The Golden State Warriors’ long winning streak was recently ended but they are still playing high-quality basketball. Denver isn’t going away so the Warriors need to keep it up in order to claim the top spot in the Western Conference at the end of the year. Golden State is at home next time out but faces a quality foe as the San Antonio Spurs come to town.
The Spurs have found a groove and are moving up the ladder in the West. They could really turn some heads with an upset win in this game, but it certainly won’t be easy. Golden State has the superior talent and the location advantage so it will be the clear favorite in NBA wagering.
This NBA basketball game between the San Antonio Spurs and Golden State Warriors will be held at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California at 10:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, February 6th, 2019. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN.

Odds Analysis
The Spurs have a record of 32-22 on the season. They have not been that good on the road, though, with only 10 wins in 25 attempts. San Antonio must be much better than it has shown to have a shot in this one. The Spurs have won five consecutive games to move up to the No. 4 seed in the conference and have the Blazers and Thunder in their sights. There are plenty of teams chasing San Antonio so every game is huge the rest of the way.
The Warriors are 37-15 this year. They have done a nice job at home this season with a 19-7 record and will aim to improve on that. Golden State and Denver are in a dead heat atop the Western Conference. The Warriors are widely expected to finish as the top seed but the Nuggets continue to play well. This is a big game in which Golden State needs to take care of business in NBA gambling.
Injury Report
Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson missed a recent game due to illness but has sufficiently recovered and should be good to go for this one. Thompson missed the team’s game against the 76ers, which it lost.
That has been the only game in the past 13 in which Golden State has fallen. The past seven games the Warriors have boasted the services of star center DeMarcus Cousins, who is back after missing the first half of the year while recovering from a torn Achilles.
That means the Warriors are a perfect 6-0 when they have Cousins, Thompson, Draymond Green, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant all playing together. They are all expected to suit up for this one.
Player To Watch
DeMar DeRozan -- The Warriors have a ton of stars, and in order to keep up, the Spurs are going to need a grandiose performance out of their best player. DeRozan has played well since being acquired from the Raptors in the offseason trade for Kawhi Leonard.
He is averaging 21.2 points and 6.2 assists per game, both of which lead the team. DeRozan is shooting 46.1 percent from the field and it seems imperative for him to be efficient in order for the Spurs to pull off the shocker.

The Spurs would have had a fighting chance in San Antonio but the location of this one makes it extremely tough. Golden State has a plethora of offensive options and even a cohesive defensive team like San Antonio doesn’t have enough pure athleticism to shut it down.
The Warriors are the pick to win this one, but keep an eye on the spread. The Spurs have an elite coach in Gregg Popovich and he might be able to game plan well enough to keep his squad close in NBA gambling.
NBA ATS Pick: Golden State Warriors 116, San Antonio Spurs 108
