NBA Basketball Odds - Saturday Best Bets

The NBA regular season is back into full swing, and all the players should be rested after a reprieve during the All-Star Break. This is the stretch run where the contenders aim to get hot as the playoffs approach. The Western Conference playoff standings are particularly close, and every win or loss could mean a great deal the rest of the way.

There are some Saturday games which stick out as the best bets and they are listed below in NBA gambling.

We'll have NBA basketball odds at BookMaker.eu available for every game of the 2019 NBA season.

Odds Analysis

The Portland Trail Blazers are on the road Saturday against the Philadelphia 76ers. It’s going to be a tough game for Portland to win, but not quite as bad because the 76ers are going to be without star big man Joel Embiid, who is dealing with a knee injury. The oddsmakers will likely drop the spread by a couple points, but the 76ers should be able to make up for Embiid’s absence and still cover.

Two of the worst teams in the NBA will face off when the Phoenix Suns travel to play the Atlanta Hawks. Even though neither of these squads are going to make the postseason, the Hawks have a much more rosy projection moving forward. Atlanta is the superior team playing at home and is the easy call to knock off the woeful Suns.

The Los Angeles Lakers will be on the road Saturday against the New Orleans Pelicans. Plenty of people thought New Orleans star center Anthony Davis would be with Los Angeles by now after so many trade rumors swirled around him at the deadline. However, he remains with the Pelicans as they look to pick up a win. Los Angeles really needs this one as it aims to get back into the top eight seeds and qualify for the postseason in the West. The Lakers have the urgency and are the pick to pull off the road upset.

The Detroit Pistons and Miami Heat are both trying to make the playoffs in the East and they will face off in a critical matchup. Miami is at home and could have Goran Dragic back in the lineup after a lengthy absence. Even if Dragic plays he is not yet in good enough condition to have a huge impact. Detroit has played well of late and is the pick to pull out the win.

The marquee game of the night features the Houston Rockets on the road in a matchup against the Golden State Warriors. James Harden sunk a buzzer beater the last time these teams played to help the Rockets to the upset win, but he won’t be able to pull the feat again. Golden State is playing at an elite level and should not just win but also cover the spread at home.

The above picks should definitely be considered, but there is one that stands out above the rest when it comes to best Saturday bets. The Utah Jazz are hosting the Dallas Mavericks in a Western Conference matchup. Utah is aiming to move up the standings as it would love to finish as a top-four seed and host a first-round playoff series.

The Jazz did a great job down the stretch a season ago and will follow that same blueprint in 2019. Utah is the better team and gets the home court so it will be a comfortable favorite. Even though the Jazz will be giving points, they are the choice to cover the spread in NBA betting lines.
