The first game of the day features the Orlando Magic on the road against the Toronto Raptors. The second game of the day pits the Los Angeles Clippers against the Denver Nuggets. The Clippers are still hanging on to the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, but they dealt star Tobias Harris at the deadline and figure to start sinking down in the standings. Denver has the No. 2 seed in the West right now and would love to finish there. The Nuggets might not be quite as good as they have showed, and the Clippers will be underestimated in this one. Look for Los Angeles to stick closer than expected despite playing in an arena that makes it tough on opponents. The Clippers aren’t going to win but they are the pick to cover the spread.

The San Antonio Spurs have been poor on the road this season but are going to New York to face off against the woeful Knicks. San Antonio has much more to play for as it is right in the playoff hunt while New York is headed for the lottery once again.
The Knicks have lost nine of their past 10 games and have the second-worst record in the NBA ahead of only the Suns. New York will not be expected to win this game, but prepare for a possible stunner. The Knicks have more talent now that they added Dennis Smith, Jr. and Deandre Jordan at the trading deadline for sidelined star Kristaps Porzingis. New York only has four victories at home this season but look for San Antonio to struggle offensively and allow the Knicks to hang around.
New York is going to hit enough shots down the stretch to grab the lead and then hold on for the victory. It’s going to be super close and it is not necessarily going to be pretty, but the Knicks are the choice to pull the upset in the final game on Sunday. Check out the moneyline odds because New York should be the home underdog and will pay off nicely.
It rarely makes sense to bet on the Knicks to win but this is the type of situation that is ripe for an upset. The Spurs are going to drop a costly one in NBA gambling.
