NBA Basketball Odds - Washington Wizards at Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview

NBA Basketball Odds

The Milwaukee Bucks have taken over the top spot in the Eastern Conference and don’t plan on relinquishing it down the stretch. Milwaukee has been one of the most impressive teams in the NBA all year and will aim to stay hot next time out in a matchup against the Washington Wizards.

When the Wizards lost John Wall to a season-ending injury early in the year most thought they would fade from the playoff race, but the team is still hanging around the No. 8 seed. This would be a fantastic upset to pull off but it’s going to be really tough to do so because Milwaukee is so talented and gets this game at home.

The Bucks will be a heavy favorite to pick up this victory in NBA wagering.

This NBA basketball game between the Washington Wizards and Milwaukee Bucks will be held at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, February 6th, 2019. The game will be nationally televised on TNT.

We'll have NBA basketball odds at BookMaker.eu available for every game of the 2019 NBA season.

Odds Analysis

The Wizards have a record of 22-30 on the season. They have really had trouble on the road with only six wins in 26 attempts. Washington seems hard-pressed to win this game considering the location and caliber of opponent.

The Bucks are 38-13 on the year, which is 1.5 games better than anyone else in the NBA. Milwaukee has been excellent at home with a mark of 22-4. The Bucks have won three straight and nine of their past 10 to surpass the Raptors atop the East.

Injury Report

Milwaukee point guard Eric Bledsoe is dealing with an Achilles injury that has kept him out of the team’s most recent game against the Wizards. It’s a big loss if Bledsoe cannot play in this one as he is one of the team’s best players. Bledsoe is averaging 15.8 points, 5.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game this season. He is shooting 49.2 percent from the field and 30.4 percent from three-point range while also playing solid defense. Check to see if Bledsoe plans to give it a go in this matchup.

Washington big man Dwight Howard continues to recover from back surgery and will not be available for this matchup. He has only played in nine games this season, averaging 12.8 points and 9.2 rebounds and shooting better than 60 percent from the floor in those contests. While Wall won’t be back this year, the Wizards would like to have Howard return to the court at some point as the team pushes for the postseason.

Player To Watch

Trevor Ariza -- The Wizards acquired the veteran forward in the middle of the season in exchange for Kelly Oubre, and he has been a solid addition. Ariza is averaging 14.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game for Washington.

Bradley Beal is the team’s star but without Wall a second scorer was badly needed, and Ariza has helped fill that role. He needs to play very well in this one if Washington is to have a chance at the upset win.

Free NBA ATS Picks

The Warriors are the best team in the NBA but the Bucks are making a great case to be No. 2. Milwaukee will need to prove itself in the playoffs, but holding the top seed in the East for the postseason would be a huge help.

The Bucks are a much better team and get this game at home, so they should be able to pull away and pick up the victory. Check to see where the oddsmakers put the spread in order to decide which team makes more sense on the spread in NBA wagering.

NBA ATS Pick: Milwaukee Bucks 119, Washington Wizards 107
