Indiana is a solid team and is the choice to go on the road and grab a win that will make Detroit sweat out the rest of the season.
The San Antonio Spurs will be on the road on Wednesday against the Denver Nuggets. Denver will be coming off a huge game against the Warriors in which a win would tie Golden State atop the West. That game is critical, because a loss would likely set up Denver as the No. 2 seed and take away some motivation for this one. The Spurs are trying to remain ahead of the Thunder for the No. 7 seed to avoid a likely showdown with the Warriors in the first round. This is a possible playoff preview, and while the Spurs should keep it close and cover, the Nuggets will win.
The Utah Jazz are going on the road to face off against the Phoenix Suns. Phoenix shooting guard Devin Booker is on a fantastic scoring tear, but he gets precious little hope. Even on the road, the Jazz should have no problem dicing up the Phoenix defense in this one. Utah is the pick to cover, and the “over” is the smart play as well.
