The Golden State Warriors are currently looking unbeatable, but maybe one of their Western Conference brethren can knock them off. The Portland Trail Blazers have played well all season long and are currently one of the top teams in the West. They have played well at home this season and would love to pull out a win over the defending champions.
Most teams would be an underdog on the road against Portland but the Warriors are in a different stratosphere. They are playing tremendous basketball and any loss, no matter the location, is a surprise right now. The Blazers are good enough to win this game if they are efficient.
Portland is in a crowded playoff race so picking up this win would be a big boost in NBA gambling.

Odds Analysis
The Warriors are 40-15 on the season. They have won 15 of their past 16 games to take control of the Western Conference. Golden State is 19-8 on the road this season and has had no trouble away from home of late during this hot streak. The Warriors are almost completely healthy and should be slight favorites in this matchup in NBA gambling.
The Blazers have a record of 33-22 on the season. They have won seven of their past 10 games and are currently sitting in fourth place in the Western Conference. Portland has been really impressive at home on the year with a record of 23-8.
Player To Watch
Rodney Hood -- The Blazers added the shooting guard in a trade with the Cavaliers before the trading deadline, as they are aiming to bolster the lineup in hopes of a deep playoff run. Hood has played a pair of games for Portland.
He scored 14 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field in his debut, a nine-point win over the Spurs. Hood hit 2-of-3 from downtown and had a big hand in the victory. Hood wasn’t as good last time out, scoring eight points on 3-of-7 from the field in a one-point loss to the Mavericks.
Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum are the stars of the Blazers, but the team is happy to have Hood add to the depth and give the roster another scoring option.
Key Stat
1. That’s the number of games back the Warriors are of the Milwaukee Bucks for the best record in the NBA. Golden State seems like a shoo-in to win the West and have home court advantage up to the NBA Finals. However, if Milwaukee advances out of the East and finishes with a superior record to Golden State, it would have the home court if the teams faced off for the title.
The Warriors are going to be the favorites to win the championship no matter what, but claiming the best record after such a shaky start would be an impressive accomplishment. A win here over the Blazers would help that push.
Free NBA ATS Picks
Golden State is the better team, but even the best of the best lose every once in a while. The Blazers have the type of offensive firepower which will allow them to go shot for shot with the Warriors. Portland is going to go all out looking for a win in this one, and if Golden State isn’t focused it may fall.
The Blazers are likely to be the underdogs but they are a worthy pick as it could pay off nicely. Portland is not the better team, but the location and its sense of urgency should result in handing the Warriors a rare loss in NBA gambling.
The scoring total could be high but the “over” should still be under consideration because this one could be played at a frenetic pace.
NBA ATS Pick: Portland Trail Blazers 129, Golden State Warriors 123
