The Warriors had their worst outing of the season on the road against Houston on Thursday night, finishing with just 86 points against a below average Rockets defense in a 21-point loss. The San Antonio Spurs are looking to capitalize on that when they host the Warriors on Sunday night.

Golden State is the best three-point shooting team the NBA has ever seen, but the Warriors were not on their game from beyond the arc on Thursday night. They went just 4-18 from three-point range, and if you subtract Quinn Cook’s numbers from the total the team combined to go 1-14. That is shockingly poor shooting from downtown and such a performance only puts more gas on the fire that there is something wrong with this team internally.
Player to Watch
LaMarcus Aldridge is the veteran leader on the Spurs, but and he is averaging a double-double each night. However, his shooting has been absolutely atrocious this season, and it is really holding San Antonio back.
Aldridge went just 6-27 from the floor against Phoenix and the Clippers in San Antonio’s last two games, and he is hitting just 41.1 percent from the field this season. Considering he plays pretty close to the basket these days, those numbers are troubling.
