NBA Betting - Golden State Warriors at Toronto Raptors

The offseason trade for Kawhi Leonard has worked out nicely for the Toronto Raptors, who currently sport the best record in the NBA. They will face a big test this week when they host the defending champion Golden State Warriors. Golden State has been struggling lately without the services of star point guard Stephen Curry and do-everything forward Draymond Green.

The Warriors are aiming to get back on track and return to their rightful spot atop the Western Conference, but it has been a tough stretch. Check to see the availability of the Golden State stars as they will have an impact on the spread. The Raptors could be the favorites no matter what but will for sure if Curry is out in NBA gambling.

This NBA basketball game between the Golden State Warriors and Toronto Raptors will be held at ScotiaBank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at 8 p.m ET on Thursday, November 29th, 2018. The game will be nationally televised on TNT.

Odds Analysis

The Raptors have a record of 16-4 on the season as they have looked really impressive early on. Toronto has won eight of its 10 games at home on the year. The Raptors have won four in a row to end the week.

The Warriors are 14-7 as they have really dropped after a hot start when everybody was healthy. Golden State is under .500 on the road with just four wins in nine trips. As long as everyone is injury-free come playoff time this will still be the team to beat, but for now Golden State is dealing with its issues.

Curry’s availability will also have an effect on the spread in NBA wagering.

Injury Report

Curry has been dealing with a groin injury for several weeks and the team has suffered without him on the court. Curry is averaging 29.5 points, 6.1 assists and 5.0 rebounds on the season and shooting at a prolific clip from the field. He could return to the team at some point on its road trip but is unlikely to play in this one.

Green is dealing with a sprained toe and the Warriors have lost all four games which he has missed. While Green isn’t the same type of scorer as Curry or Kevin Durant, he does a lot of different things very well. He could be back for this one so keep a close eye on his status.

Player To Watch

Leonard -- The former Spurs star wanted to be traded and the team finally acquiesced. Now he is with the Raptors and proving he is still one of the best players in the NBA. Leonard is averaging 24.4 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game on the season.

He is also a lockdown defender. Toronto has been one of the better teams in the East the past few seasons but has failed to get over the hump in the postseason. The Raptors are hoping Leonard can help get them some more success in the playoffs, and a win here would be a good sign.

Free NBA ATS Picks

The Warriors will figure it out eventually but there are definite issues right now. The Raptors are a talented foe and have the home court advantage. It does not seem like Curry will be available, and without him Golden State will be in trouble. Roll with Toronto to win this game and also cover the spread as the Warriors will not be able to keep up in NBA betting lines.
