The Los Angeles Clippers simply refuse to go away. At the start of their series with the Golden State Warriors, the Clippers were considered a coinflip to win even one game in the series. However, while six other teams have already been eliminated from the playoffs, they are still alive against the team that has won three of the last four NBA titles. They are still heavy underdogs to win the series, but they have more of a chance than anyone thought and get to play at home in Game 6.
This game will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Tip-off is scheduled for 10:05 p.m. ET on April 26, 2019, and the game will be broadcast on TNT.

Series Recap
Golden State looked on its way toward making this a short series after Game 1, but the Clippers erased a 31-point deficit to win Game 2 and show that they could compete with the Warriors. Game 3 was another one-sided affair in favor of the Warriors, and while Game 4 was close, they looked certain to close out the series Wednesday night. At least that’s what most of us though. The Clippers scored a franchise record 71 points in the first half last night and withstood a furious late charge from the Warriors to force Game 6.
Injury Report
There are no injuries to report on the side of the Clippers, but the Warriors are still dealing with life without two of their top big men. Just when DeMarcus Cousins came back from a torn Achilles, Damian Jones suffered a probable season-ending injury. Now, Cousins is gone for the season after tearing his quad. That has put more of an onus on the recently unretired Andrew Bogut
Matchup to Watch
The Clippers deep bench was huge once again in Game 5. Lou Williams continues to be an incredible difference maker off the bench and is now the NBA’s all-time leading scorer off the bench too. Williams continually makes the right decision with the ball, and his ability to get to the hole and finish or dish has been incredible. He went 12-19 from the floor and had 10 assists in Game 5, and the Warriors have to find a way to stop him tomorrow night.
Williams’ synergy with Montrezl Harrell has been something to behold this series. Harrell is known more for his defensive chops, but he has been the beneficiary of Williams’ ability to create space throughout the series. He finished with 24 points last night, and he is hitting an incredible 75 percent of his shots from the field in five games.
Game 6 Preview
Golden State didn’t get much scoring aside from their Big Three on Wednesday night. Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, and Klay Thompson got their with a combined 91 points between the trio, but no one else could hit shots and that hurt the Warriors in the end. The Clippers were continually daring Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala to hit threes, and no one else was able to make those shots when Steve Kerr made changes.
Prediction
These teams were each incredible from the line on Wednesday night. They combined to go 44-48 from the free throw line, and that is unlikely to happy again in Game 6. The Clippers shot very well from the floor and while Golden State had an average night shooting, I think the under is a great play here. Kerr and Golden State have to be frustrated that they weren’t able to close out the series, and they will have a much better defensive performance.
