This Monday is jampacked with action. There are nine NBA games on the docket as the pros keep us entertained while everyone gears up for March Madness. Some of the league’s best home teams will be defending their court in one last playoff push, and that makes for some serious value on Monday night.

Detroit Pistons -7.5 at Cleveland Cavaliers
The Pistons have had their way with the Cavaliers this season. Detroit has defeated Cleveland by 7, 11, and 36 points in their last three meetings, and the Cavaliers have had some major problems handling Detroit’s size. The Pistons outrebounded the Cavaliers 51-33 in the last meeting between these two teams, and even with Kevin Love back in the lineup I don’t see Cleveland winning the rebounding battle in this game either.
Under 228 in Washington vs. Utah
When you factor in tempo, the Jazz have the best defense in the NBA. Rudy Gobert keeps opponents from getting a lot of easy buckets down low, and Utah’s perimeter defenders close out well on opposing guards. Each of Utah’s last six games had less than 228 points, and I think this line is a little too high.
Washington’s Bradley Beal went off against Memphis in his last game, but he will have a significantly harder time getting off good shots here. If you keep Beal in check, you shut down the Wizards’ offense, and I have faith in Utah’s ability to do that.
Toronto Raptors -13.5 vs. New York Knicks
Kudos to the Knicks for securing a big win over the Lakers yesterday afternoon. It’s been another throwaway season for New York, as the team is actively tanking to land Zion Williamson, but the Knicks are proving they have some exciting young players like Kevin Knox to build around.
This is a terrible spot for them though. I’m laying a lot of chalk with Toronto, but the Raptors are going to run away with this one. They have one of the best home court advantages in the league, and the Knicks are going to be emotionally drained after arguably their biggest win of the season. I think they come out flat and get blasted.
Miami Heat +4.5 at Oklahoma City Thunder
It’s time to see just how good Oklahoma City is without Russell Westbrook. Westbrook has been suspended for one game after picking up his 16th technical foul of the season on Saturday, and that will make the Thunder a one-man show. Oklahoma City will be relying on Paul George for offense and without a reliable second option, I think the Heat have a good chance of pulling off the upset.
Miami is one of the few teams that plays better on the road than it does at home, and the Heat are .500 away from Miami and .500 against Western Conference opponents.
Dallas Mavericks -4.5 vs. New Orleans Pelicans
The Mavericks are slumping with a 2-8 record over their last 10 games, but they have been dynamite at home all year long. Dallas is 22-13 at home, and Luka Doncic could have a big game against New Orleans provided he plays. He is listed as a game time decision, but he is considered likely to play tonight. If something changes and Doncic can’t go, get off the Mavericks.
Under 213 in Portland vs. Indiana
Since Victor Oladipo went down with a major injury, the Pacers have had to redouble their efforts on defense. They are a middling team without a proven scorer now that he is out of the lineup, so the under has been a great play in their games. Under is 16-8 in Pacers game since Oladipo was hurt two months ago, and even totals in the low 210s are consistently going under.
