The Golden State Warriors are back up to their old tricks, as a bumpier-than-usual regular season has made way to a flawless postseason start. Despite injuries to their stars, the Warriors have rolled to three straight wins over the San Antonio Spurs in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.
Golden State will aim for the sweep when it faces off against the Spurs in San Antonio for Game 4 this weekend. The first three games have not been competitive and it remains to be seen if the Spurs have enough firepower to pick up at least one win in this series.
Despite playing on the road, the Warriors will be favored to capture Game 4 and punch their ticket to the Western Conference semifinals.
Game 4 of this NBA Playoff Series is on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. ET at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. The contest will be nationally televised on ESPN.

Odds Analysis
The Warriors are listed as six-point favorites in Game 4, so the oddsmakers believe a sweep is going to happen. The betting public has jumped on Golden State to cover as more than 88 percent of the action has headed its way.
The scoring total is listed at 203.5 points. That is an interesting total and has less to do with Golden State’s offense and more about San Antonio’s inability to score. There is no moneyline yet but the Warriors will of course be the favorites there. They figure to be given about a two in three chance to win Game 4 in NBA basketball gambling.
Injury Report
Warriors star forward Kevin Durant tweaked his ankle in the fourth quarter of Game 3 against the Spurs and didn’t return. Golden State cruised to the 110-97 but obviously this will be a big storyline if Durant’s availability for Game 4 is impacted. He did tell ESPN after the game that the injury was minor.
Durant seems on track to play, but with Golden State ahead 3-0 in the series, the Warriors could choose to be cautious. Keep a close eye on this situation as the absence of Durant would have a large effect on the spread.
Golden State is already missing Stephen Curry as he is trying to return next round from a sprained MCL. Warriors guard Shaun Livingston also sprained his ankle, which is a blow to Golden State’s depth if he has to sit for a while.
Coaching Situation
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich did not coach in Game 3 following the death of his wife, Erin, after a long illness. The NBA community was devastated by the news and it hit the team hard.
Shooting guard Danny Green said the tragedy put basketball in perspective for the team. Ettorre Messina was the interim coach in Game 3 for San Antonio. It is unknown if Popovich will want to return to coach in Game 4 of the series since his wife’s death happened so recently.
Free NBA ATS Picks
The Spurs have been one of the best teams in the NBA for the past two decades but with star small forward Kawhi Leonard, they don’t have enough talent to keep up with Golden State. The caveat here is if Durant is out with the ankle sprain.
If that happens, the Spurs are the pick to pick up one win in this series before the Warriors close it out in Game 5. But the feeling here is that Durant shakes off the ankler roll to play in Game 4. He should have a big game and lead Golden State to the win, although the Spurs are the pick to cover in NBA basketball gambling.
NBA ATS Pick: Warriors 105, Spurs 101
