Davis might not get the same type of national love as some other players because he isn’t on a perennial contender, but make no bones about it: he might be the best player in the league at this point.
Oklahoma City does not have a big man that figures to have a legitimate shot at slowing down Davis in this matchup.

3. That’s the shot Paul George tried to hit at the buzzer against the Bulls last time, but it missed and the team fell by a score of 114-112. It ended Oklahoma City’s four-game winning streak and was a pretty poor loss considering Chicago is not a good team.
However, it was a mere blip and the Thunder should be able to shake it off as they aim to get back on track in this one. The Western Conference figures to be a hard-fought battle throughout the year and the Thunder needs to win its fair share of close games in order to finish with a high seed.
