NBA March 3 Parlay Picks

Winning a single bet in the NBA is hard to do since we don’t know which players sit out for ‘load management’ reasons. And with so many games condensed into a short time frame players dealing with nagging ailments sometimes aren’t at their best. But tracking the right information will certainly help our chances. It’s harder to put together multiple winners on a single parlay card as a result sportsbooks offer attractive odds. That doesn’t mean you can’t hit a multi-team parlay, but a lot has to go right in order to do that. There is a nice slate of games on the Friday, March 3 schedule including an ESPN doubleheader featuring four of the top teams in the Association. Go big or go home as they say. Let’s have a look at NBA parlay for Friday, March 3.

Boston Celtics

Tracking trends is good way to win a wager on a NBA game. And the Brooklyn Nets have been trending negatively since unloading superstars Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. A 14-point setback to Milwaukee on Tuesday was their third straight and fifth in six games, and the direction they’re heading could put them out of the postseason picture soon. Hell, even when Irving was toiling with them the Nets didn’t put up a fight in a 139-96 loss in Boston a month ago. With the Celtics falling behind the Bucks for the No. 1 overall seed in the East, stringing wins together is a must for them, not just to hang around the top of the standings but to also hold off Philly and Cleveland, who are just a few games off the pace.

The Celtics are getting healthy at the right time with the recent return of Marcus Smart. Jaylen Brown missed the loss to the Knicks on Monday but is expected back in the lineup for this contest. And with a full complement of players the Celtics have as much depth as any team in the NBA. They also boast MVP candidate Jayson Tatum, who averages over 30 points and 8.7 rebounds with clutch baskets like his three-pointer to take down the Sixers last week. The Nets are still in a playoff spot but they seemingly raised the white flag around the deadline and the Celtics are poised to pounce at home.

Denver Nuggets

One reason why I’m backing the Nuggets in their showdown with the Griz is their league-best 28-4 home record. Another reason is they have Nikola Jokic, the two-time reigning MVP. Not many players averaged a triple-double for an entire season but Jokic is poised to join the group with 24.6 points, 11.7 rebounds and 10.0 assists. Even if the Griz take Jokic out of his game the Nuggets have scorers throughout the lineup to pick up the slack. Since losing to OKC in late January the Nuggets are 6-0 at home scoring at least 118 points in every game and topping the 130-mark three times. The teams have split the season series so far with both winning comfortably at home.

Golden State Warriors

Another team that seemingly doesn’t lose at home is the Warriors. Even without Steph Curry they have the horses to overcome big deficits. The Dubs trailed Portland by as many as 23 points on Tuesday before rallying for a 123-105 win. They outscored the Blazers 83-42 after falling behind 63-40. Jordan Poole is an efficient scorer and Klay Thompson can still knock down shots. The tandem combined for 52 points in the win as the Warriors improved to 25-7 at Chase Center and climbed into the top six in the Western Conference standings. Meanwhile the Pelicans have faded big time going 4-6 in their last 10 games and they are on the verge of dropping outside the top 10 in the West.
