The New Orleans Pelicans let us down over the weekend. New Orleans could have moved into playoff position with a win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, but instead they lost by 14 points. The Western Conference is an absolute mess with a month to play in the regular season now as six teams are either 34-34 or 33-35 as of Monday morning. It’s very likely that the Denver Nuggets end up with the No. 1 overall seed in the West, but everything else is a crapshoot at the moment.

Cleveland Cavaliers
Sacramento Kings
Payout: $100 to win $264
The Cleveland Cavaliers have been very good at home this season. Cleveland is 28-7 on its home court, and the Cavaliers have only lost one home game since February 1. They hammered the Philadelphia 76ers by 28 points the last time they hosted the Sixers, as Joel Embiid didn’t make too much of an impact against the big men that the Cavaliers were able to throw at him.
Embiid performed much better when Philly welcomed Cleveland to the City of Brotherly Love a few weeks ago with 29 points and 14 rebounds. That is a performance the Sixers are hoping he can repeat, but it won’t be easy as long as Jarrett Allen is able to suit up for the Cavaliers in this game. Allen missed Sunday’s game against Charlotte with an eye injury, but he is expected to be able to play on Tuesday night. That will give the Cavaliers three athletic big men to throw at Embiid in Allen, Evan Mobley, and Isaac Okoro.
Cleveland won’t be as big of a favorite per the NBA betting odds as it normally would be in this game as the Cavaliers have to play a back-to-back on Tuesday and Wednesday night. That will lead to square money on Philadelphia, but the Sixers really don’t match up well with the Cavaliers, and Cleveland won’t be tested too much by Charlotte on Tuesday night.
The other team to back for the Wednesday night parlay is the Sacramento Kings. Sacramento has been one of the best stories in the NBA this season. The Kings are tied for second place in the Western Conference, and they are starting to improve on the road. They have won eight of their last 10 games, and they have a very winnable game on the road against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night.
Chicago is currently the No. 10 seed in the Eastern Conference. The Bulls have two scorers that are averaging 25.0 PPG in DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine, but they don’t have much else. Chicago is 8-14 against Western Conference teams this season, and although the Bulls are making a playoff push, they don’t have the talent to match up with Sacramento.
There’s a good chance this game goes over the total too. Sacramento has the most proficient starting five on offense in the league, but the Kings rank 28th in the NBA in defense. There were only 211 total points scored in the first game between these teams, but most of the stars had an off night shooting except for LaVine. Domantas Sabonis could be a monster in this game as he had 17 rebounds and 10 assists against Chicago back in December.
