The Lakers are 2-3 on the season, getting their first win of the season on the road against the Phoenix Suns and following it up with a victory over the Nuggets. This was a close game throughout and the rematch could be competitive as these are two evenly-matched teams.
Rondo Returns
The Lakers will get point guard Rajon Rondo back from suspension in this game. He missed three contests, including the first Spurs contest, after punching Chris Paul during an early-season fight. Rondo started the first two games of the season and should resume a big role. He is not a great shooter but is one of the better passers in the NBA and will aim to get his team involved.
The Lakers will still be without forward Brandon Ingram, who will be suspended for one more game for his role in the altercation. Ingram missed the first game between these teams as well.
