There have been some surprises early in the NBA regular season, as the Milwaukee Bucks are the last unbeaten team and the Houston Rockets are really struggling. There is one thing that has lived up to expectations, and that has been more dominance from the Golden State Warriors. The Dubs are raining down 3s from everywhere and over-running their competition as they prime for yet another NBA championship push. Golden State will be expected to keep it rolling this week when it hosts the Minnesota Timberwolves in a Western Conference clash.
Minnesota is a solid team, but playing on the road against Golden State is always a monumental task. The T-Wolves will have to play very well and hope the Warriors have an off game in order to put some drama into this one.
Golden State is going to be a heavy favorite to take care of business against Minnesota in NBA gambling.
This NBA basketball game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Golden State Warriors will be held at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California at 9:30 p.m ET on Friday, November 2nd, 2018. The game will be nationally televised on ESPN.

Odds Analysis
The Warriors have jumped out to an 8-1 record on the season, which is the best in the Western Conference and behind only the Bucks in the whole NBA. Golden State has gone 4-0 on the year at home and leads the NBA in scoring at 125 points per game.
The Timberwolves are 4-4 on the year. They have yet to win a game on the road in three attempts and will be hard-pressed to turn that around in this one. Minnesota is scoring 116 points per game and giving up 118.5 so the scoring total in this matchup could be sky-high in NBA betting.
Key Stat
50. That’s the number of points in a game that Warriors “Splash Brothers” Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson each surpassed in games recently. Curry did his against the Wizards, when he scored 51 on 15-of-24 from the field, including 11-of-16 from the three-point line.
Thompson followed that up by scoring 52 points against the Bulls. He was 18-of-29 from the field and hit 14 three-pointers in the contest. It just goes to show how good this team is at the offensive end of the court. Kevin Durant hasn’t reached 50 this year but may feel like it is his turn. Look for Durant to have a big game in this one against the Timberwolves.
Player To Watch
Derrick Rose -- The Timberwolves guard had a turn-back-the-clock performance last time out, scoring a career-high 50 points to lead Minnesota to a nice overtime win over the Jazz. Rose is a former MVP who has dealt with a bunch of knee injuries in his career, but maybe he is not done quite yet.
Rose is averaging 18.8 points per game, which is much better than what was expected of him entering the season. The Timberwolves didn’t have starting point guard Jeff Teague due to injury against Utah but Rose stepped up in a big way. If Minnesota has any chance of winning this game it will need a game like that out of Rose or one of his teammates.

Jimmy Butler didn’t play against Utah to rest, but there are reports he sat in order to force a trade as he continues to be unhappy with Minnesota. Keep an eye on the situation. If Butler doesn’t play against the Warriors it will make it that much harder for the team to come away with the upset win.
The Warriors are going to be big-time favorites in this game, and the Timberwolves’ lack of defense will be their undoing. Look for Golden State to pull away late to win this game, although Minnesota could be the right call against the spread depending on where it comes in. The scoring total should be a high one and this one will be fun to watch in NBA odds.
NBA ATS Pick: Golden State Warriors 127, Minnesota Timberwolves 116
