The Toronto Raptors are one of two undefeated teams remaining in the NBA and will put that flawless record on the line when they host the Philadelphia 76ers. 76ers star center Joel Embiid rolled his ankle late last week. X-rays were negative and the injury does not seem too serious, but it’s important to keep an eye on his progress. Embiid has a history of foot injuries but luckily this isn’t connected.
Embiid is averaging 29.2 points, 12.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game so the 76ers cannot afford to have him sit out for an extended period. Based on initial reports Embiid should be able to play in this one, but double check that because it will have a huge effect on the spread if he’s out.
