There is trouble in paradise. The Golden State Warriors have lost three straight games amid some high-profile tension between stars Kevin Durant and Draymond Green. Green didn’t play last time out in a loss to the Spurs. His injury situation is one to monitor closely as the defensive-minded power forward does a lot of underrated things to help Golden State succeed.
Thunder star Westbrook has missed the past several games, first with a sprained ankle and more recently to be there for the birth of his twin children. Westbrook seems on track to play in this one, and keep an eye on his availability because it will have a huge effect on the spread and moneyline.
Player To Watch
Durant -- Many will be seeing how the power forward handles the recent drama with Green. Additionally, without Curry on the court it is important for Durant to dominate in order for the Warriors to win this one. He is averaging 27.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game on the season, but is liable to go for 40 in this one.
Durant’s mental toughness has been questioned in the past and he will look to come up with a big game to quiet the naysayers in this one.
