The Milwaukee Bucks have been the biggest surprise in the NBA to begin the year, but they get a severe test next time out. If Milwaukee manages to hang with the Golden State Warriors this week it would be really big.
Both teams only have one loss on the season but obviously Golden State will be the clear favorite in this matchup. The Warriors have been dominant, as expected, and are hoping to dispose of the Bucks. Milwaukee has been super impressive so far and a win or even a close game on the road against Golden State would solidify the Bucks as one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference.
It will be interesting to see where the oddsmakers place this spread. The Warriors will be the favorites, but how big will it be in NBA gambling?

Odds Analysis
The Warriors are 10-1 on the season. They have won eight consecutive games and are a perfect 6-0 at home on the year. Golden State has the best collection of talent in the NBA and should be favored in every home game this season provided its stars remain healthy.
The Bucks have been phenomenal thus far with an 8-1 record. They have only played three road games thus far and have won a pair of them. Milwaukee’s lone loss this season came against the Celtics and it was only by four points.
Live betting will be available for this showdown. That could be valuable because bettors can see if the Bucks are able to hang with the Warriors or if their early start is a bit of a mirage.
Key Stat
7. That’s how many of Milwaukee’s wins have been by double digits, which is the reason why the Bucks have the league’s largest point-differential this season at an average of plus-15.8. Milwaukee is coming off of a 35-point win over the Sacramento Kings.
The Bucks’ promising start does not look very fluky as blowouts are often the measure of a great team. Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo has been fantastic this season. He is averaging 26.1 points, 13.9 rebounds, 5.9 assists and 1.4 blocks per game.
The Greek Freak is leading the way and Milwaukee is getting some nice contributions from others. The Bucks are anxious to see how this litmus test against the Warriors will go.
Injury Update
Warriors forward Draymond Green injured his foot in Monday’s win over the Grizzlies and left the game. He underwent X-rays and the results were negative, which is good new for his long-term prognosis. It’s up in the air as to whether Green will be available in this one.
The Warriors have plenty of scoring but Green is a key piece because he is the team’s best defender and does a little bit of everything. If Green can’t play it could have a small effect on the spread and give the Bucks a little bit better shot at pulling the upset.
Free NBA ATS Picks
The Bucks should not be discounted as their start has been really impressive. The Warriors at home are nearly unbeatable and they should pick up this victory. However, keep an eye on the spread because Milwaukee may be able to make this one competitive. The scoring total should be high as both teams like to play fast.
Don’t forget about the live betting option as it is a fun way to add to the bankroll in the midst of the action in NBA wagering.

NBA ATS Pick: Golden State Warriors 124, Milwaukee Bucks 115
