The Milwaukee Bucks have been one of the biggest surprises thus far of the NBA season, as they are making it clear they have what it takes to be an Eastern Conference contender. The Bucks have gotten off to a hot start and will look to keep it going at home in a matchup against the San Antonio Spurs.
San Antonio is still trying to find itself after the offseason trade of star Kawhi Leonard and is hovering around .500 on the season. The Spurs have long been good on the road but that was back when they were a perennial contender. It could be a different story in this one as San Antonio should be a substantial underdog in NBA odds.
This NBA basketball game between the San Antonio Spurs and Milwaukee Bucks will be held at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at 8:30 p.m ET on Saturday, November 24th, 2018. The game will be nationally televised on NBATV.

Odds Analysis
The Bucks have a record of 13-4 on the season, which is the second-best in the NBA behind only the Toronto Raptors. Milwaukee has been dominant at home this year with nine wins in 10 attempts.
The Spurs are 8-9 on the year. They have lost two in a row and seven of their past 10 games. San Antonio’s problems can be traced to road games as it is only 2-6 away from home on the year. The Spurs would love to turn that around but it seems unlikely to happen in this matchup in NBA gambling.
Key Stat
12.9 -- That’s the Bucks’ positive point-differential on the season, which is the best in the NBA. Milwaukee is the only team in the league with a positive point-differential in double-digits, and it’s a great sign for staying power atop the standings moving forward.
The Bucks are showing all the hallmarks of a good team between the strong point differential and home dominance. Milwaukee leads the NBA in scoring at 121.4 points per game and is only allowing 108.5 points per contest. The Bucks weren’t projected to be this good but everything points to a stellar season, so jump on the Milwaukee train and don’t look back.
Player To Watch
Giannis Antetokounmpo -- The Milwaukee forward has gone from a dynamic athlete to an unbelievable overall player. The Greek Freak has to be on the MVP short list early on as he is averaging 26.3 points, 12.9 rebounds, 5.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.3 blocks per game. He leads the team in points, rebounds and steals per game.
Antetokounmpo had 33 points, 16 rebounds and nine assists in a blowout win over the Trail Blazers last time out. There is some talent around him, obviously, but Antetokounmpo is the player that has really taken the Bucks to new heights with his excellence. The Spurs are a good defensive team but will have their hands full trying to slow him down.

The Spurs are still finding their way, and while they have a great coach and solid depth, the lack of a true superstar is hampering this group now that Leonard is in Toronto. That isn’t a problem for the Bucks, who are being led by Antetokounmpo and have found perfect pieces to put around him.
Milwaukee is for real, and will further prove that by picking up an easy home win against the overmanned Spurs in this matchup. The Bucks are the choice to both win and cover the spread in NBA odds.
NBA ATS Pick: Milwaukee Bucks 117, San Antonio Spurs 105
