The start of major season in professional golf brings an abundance of wagering opportunities at your favorite sportsbook. Think of the biggest tournaments as the Super Bowl of golf with increased betting markets and an outrageous list of props. The 88th edition of the Masters is a tradition unlike any other and the increased attention just adds to the excitement. The best golfers on the globe will assemble at Augusta National, including 13 LIV Golf members. Headlining the contingent is defending champion Jon Rahm and of course there’s a prop bet for a LIV golfer to win the green jacket.
With 89 of the world’s best players set to navigate Augusta, the betting markets run deep. There are, of course, the standard pick-the-winner and round-by-round matchup bets, but the majors unleash a host of additional wagering opportunities. If you’re looking for some side action, BookMaker is the right place. Let’s take a look at some of the prop bet options and find out where you can make additional coin while wagering on the 2024 Masters.

Making things even more special is having five-time Masters champ Tiger Woods in the field. Making his first start since he withdrew from The Genesis in February, El Tigre is well down the odds board in the outright market. However, he remains a huge attraction and brings a massive haul to sportsbooks even forcing them to have their own Tiger Woods prop menu.
Tiger Woods Make the Cut
Yes -110
No -120
While it might be tempting to bet Tiger at 150/1 for the outright it’s a stretch. You can always check out the props for a better chance of winning a Tiger wager. Extended time off does affect players and Tiger is no different. You can’t mimic live rounds and if fatigue sets in it’s more likely to happen later in the tournament so backing Woods in early round props is the way to go. With around 60 percent of the field making the cut the odds aren’t great, but Woods has a better chance since he’s done that in 22 consecutive Masters, not counting his WD last year.
Will there be a Hole-in-One
Yes -220
No +180
One of the more popular prop bets on the board is the hole-in-one with odds in favor of it happening at some point this week. We’ve seen a total of 34 aces at Augusta during the history of the Masters and it’s happened at least once in six of the last eight editions. The field failed to sink an ace last year leaving Stewart Cink in 2022 as the last player with a hole-in-one. That came on the popular 16th, a tidy 170-yard hole that’s yielded the most aces. You can wager on whether or not there will be an ace, drop a few bucks on a specific player or make a bet on the hole most likely to concede a hole-in-one. If it’s going to happen it’ll likely take place on the 16th, which has seen 24 holes-in-one. Jeff Sluman in 1992 is the only player to hole out at No. 4, which is why the odds are long for that hole to give up an ace. With more than half of the tournament aces coming since 2003 the odds favor it happening again.
Will any LIV Golf Player win the 2024 Masters?
Yes +300
No -400
There may be friction between the pro golf leagues but it sure makes for exciting golf and an increased prop menu. Jon Rahm was still a member of the PGA Tour when he won last year’s Masters and goes for a repeat as a LIV member, which brings us to this prop. Rahm held off LIVers Brooks Koepka and Phil Mickelson last year with Patrick Reed grabbing a share of fourth. LIV was well represented last year and will be so once again with 13 players competing. And a number of them have a major championship on their resume already with Dustin Johnson (2020), Patrick Reed (2018) and Sergio Garcia (2017) winning at Augusta. Most recently Koepka won the 2023 PGA Championship and Cameron Smith captured the 2022 Open Championship. I think it would be fun to win the YES bet to see the reaction of PGA Tour bigwigs who wanted LIV players banned in the first place. And the payout wouldn’t be too shabby either.
