All but two teams will be in action on another jam-packed Saturday of NHL games. There will be at least one game on for at least 12 hours from the time the puck drops in the day’s opener between the Tampa Bay Lightning and the Boston Bruins to the nightcap between the Anaheim Ducks and St. Louis Blues. Every team except Carolina and Nashville has played at least 70 games, yet only one team has clinched a playoff berth and only four teams have been eliminated playoff contention, so there is still plenty up for grabs this season.

NHL Parlay Picks for Saturday, March 25, 2023
Seattle Kraken at Nashville Predators
Buffalo Sabres at New York Islanders
The Seattle Kraken have been excellent on the road this year. Seattle is 23-9-3 on the road, and that’s why the Kraken are in position to make the postseason in their second year of existence. They are in a bit of a slump right now, but some of that is because they’ve had to face the Dallas Stars three times in their last five games.
Philipp Grubauer has been a disappointment in net, so Martin Jones has seen more playing time this season. Jared McCann could end up scoring 40 goals though, and Vince Dunn has come out of nowhere to lead the team in points. Jordan Eberle is a gritty two-way winger that can play solid defense, so there’s much to like about Seattle on the road in Smashville.
Nashville doesn’t have a lot of scoring power. Only five players have 30 points or more on the Predators, and Roman Josi has been the top performer with 59 points on the year. The defender has 100 more shots than anyone else on the roster, as these forwards aren’t great at creating chances. That has me liking the Kraken quite a bit on Saturday afternoon even though this game is in Nashville.
I’m going to go with the New York Islanders for the second leg of my Saturday NHL Parlay. The Isles have surpassed the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Florida Panthers in the Eastern Conference standings, and they are 7-2-1 in their last 10 games with three straight victories to help their case. They have a 21-12-3 record on home ice, and the Isles play very good defense.
Meanwhile, Buffalo has lost four in a row and is 2-6-2 in its last 10 games. The Sabres are essentially out of the playoff picture at this point, and there must be some dejection among the players and staff because this will be the 11th straight season that the franchise failed to make the playoffs.
Both teams will be playing on Friday, so fatigue will be a bit of an issue, but the Isles will be able to get the win.
