Deiveson Figueiredo (20-1-1, 9-1-1 UFC)

Figueiredo came into the UFC with a record of 11-0 and he has nine wins, one loss and one draw in the UFC. In his last five fights he is 4-0-1. Figueiredo believes he won the first fight against Moreno. “I didn’t see it as a draw,” Figueiredo said to the media, “I won that fight, despite everything that happened. From Friday to Saturday, I had an intestinal illness. I didn’t sleep at all. I went to the hospital twice. The second time I went to the hospital, I checked in at 8 p.m. I was released at 4 a.m. It was a painful ordeal. Even though I was sick, I won that fight.”

Figueiredo said to the media that he will show everyone that the last meeting between the two was the best Moreno can do. “I’m confident I’ll knock Brandon out. This second time around, I’ll be able to show how much I’ve evolved. I had a complete training camp – almost four months. We studied him very well. I’m going to show him that I’m the true owner of the championship belt.

UFC Picks

I have to say that I am not impressed with Moreno. Maybe Figueiredo was right when he said he was sick and still did well against Moreno in their first fight. The list of fighters Moreno has beaten is not that impressive and I think Figueiredo will dominate this fight on Saturday night. I will make two plays in this one and take Figueiredo and the rounds to go under the total.
