Israel Adesanya will defend his UFC middleweight title against Marvin Vettori on Saturday night in Glendale, Arizona. These two met in 2018 and it was Adesanya winning a split decision. Adesanya is coming off the first loss of his career, as he was beaten by Jan Blachowicz for the UFC light heavyweight title in March, while Vettori has won his last five fights since losing to Adesanya. There are a total of five fights on the main pay-per-view card and nine fights on the preliminary card on ESPN, ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass. Let’s look at the bout between Adesanya and Vettori and UFC picks.
UFC 263: Adesanya vs. Vettori 2 takes place at Gila River Arena on Saturday, June 12 with five fights on the main pay-per-view card and nine preliminary bouts, with four on ESPN and ESPN+ and five on ESPN+ and UFC Fight Pass.

UFC Picks
How will Adesanya respond to the first loss of his career? Is Vettori really good enough to win the title? We’ll get our answers on Saturday night in this rematch. The first fight between the two was very close and there is no doubt Vettori won the third round of that fight. This time around the fight is scheduled for five rounds and I don’t know that Vettori can win three rounds against Adesanya. I am not thrilled about laying more than 2-1, although I do think Adesanya will get the win. I think the better choice is to simply play the rounds to go over the total.
