Namajunas said this to scmp.com about her upcoming fight against Weili, “Well, I think it’s sort of expected for her to change something up, because obviously whatever she did last time didn’t work so well for her. So whatever she’s got to do, I’m sure she’s going to be very motivated and ready to go. I don’t really make too much of it. I just know she’s got to be thinking a lot. I think she could be over thinking. I just have to be ready for the best version of Weili, no matter what.

UFC Picks
When these two fought in April it was Namajunas winning by first round KO. Weili was caught with a surprising head kick that took her down. Weili shouldn’t be caught unprepared again and there is no question that Weili has the better ground game. I know that Namajunas is going to use her kick again, but the element of surprise is gone. I also have to give the oddsmakers some respect in this one. Namajunas won the first fight and yet the odds on this rematch are a pick. I think Weili is extremely well prepared for this fight and I like the fact that she has Henry Cejudo helping her. I think Weili is simply the better overall fighter and I don’t think she will get surprised by anything that Namajunas does this time around. I will take Weili to get the win.
