Prochazka said this to mmafighting.com about his upcoming fight against Teixeira, “With all respect, I have to be dominant on the ground. Not like other opponents who are just taking Glover’s game, they just start defending. My game is not defending. My game is all the time attacking, all the time to be in the dominant positions. From the back, from the up guard, it doesn’t matter.”
Prochazka also said this to ufc.com about his upcoming fight against Teixeira, “I will show my best. I have a strategy. I know his weaknesses, I know his strengths, and I think he knows mine too. I want to keep this fight in my hands and rule the space in the Octagon.”

UFC Picks
We should get a very entertaining main event for as long as it lasts. Teixeira has won his last six fights and looked really good in doing so with a number of Performance of the Night bonuses. We know that Teixeira is a fighter who can finish bouts, as he has 28 finishes in his career. Prochazka has looked strong since coming into the UFC with consecutive knockout wins. He has won his last 12 fights overall. He is also a fighter who can finish, with 27 of his 28 wins coming by finish. It seems very unlikely that this fight will go the distance considering the power of each fighter. Oddsmakers are well aware of this fact as the rounds have been set at 1.5. I still think the under is a solid play, as there is a good chance this fight ends in the first round. I will go under 1.5 at plus money and also look for a prop on the rounds at 2.5 and consider betting under that number as well.
