Grasso said this to mmamania.com about her upcoming fight against Shevchenko, “Come on, it’s impossible (to discredit her). She’s been so dominant, she’s great. I can’t say any bad thing about her, honestly. She’s great. I can’t say anything wrong about her, but I’m always thankful with tough opponents because every single time that I have a tough opponent I’m better. So, this time, I’m a lot better than the fight camp before and the year before, and three years before. I’m super happy with my evolution, with everything I’m doing in my gym with everything I’m doing in my life. This is the hugest — most important fight in my life. I’m ready to give everything I have to win that belt.”
Women’s flyweight contender Erin Blanchfield said this to mmanews.com about the upcoming fight between Shevchenko and Grasso, “For Grasso to win, she would have to stay long. Try not to eat too many leg kicks; I know Valentina is going to try to chop her up with those. And she’d have to beat her at the hands and not get taken down. But over five rounds, that’s going to be a tall ask.”

UFC Picks
The price on Shevchenko is really high, but I can’t make any case for Grasso to win this fight. Shevchenko is simply too good in all areas of this fight. I don’t want to lay the big price so taking the rounds is probably the way to go. I lean toward the under, as if Grasso is to have any shot, she will have to take some chances.
