That’s what I’m aiming for, and I think that’s what makes my challenge for this title fight different than anyone else.”
Asakura also said this to sherdog.com about his upcoming fight against Pantoja, “My advantage over Pantoja is that I can finish him in one shot. So if he makes even one mistake, I’m confident that I can KO him in one shot.”

UFC Picks
Pantoja is listed as almost a 3-1 favorite in UFC betting odds over Asakura in this fight. One thing I have noticed over the years is that when a fighter is making his UFC debut and is favored by the oddsmakers, he almost always wins but when he is the underdog he almost always loses. That fact alone has me leaning toward Pantoja in this fight. The problem I have is that I despise laying big prices and Pantoja is almost a 3-1 favorite in MMA betting odds. The rounds are listed at 2.5 in this fight which is a little surprising considering both fighters are considered finishers. I think going under the rounds total in this fight is the best option and we actually get a slight plus price of +110 in UFC odds. I’ll go under the rounds total in this fight.
