Justin Willis is a big favorite to defeat Chase Sherman at UFC Fight Night 128 on Saturday in New Jersey. This event is one of six on the main card that can be seen on FS1. Willis is 6-1 in his career, while Sherman is 11-4. These are two powerful heavyweights who will look to trade big shots on Saturday. There are a total of six fights on the main card on FS1 at UFC Fight Night 128, with the headliner a bout between Edson Barboza and Kevin Lee. The co-main event has Frankie Edgar taking on Cub Swanson. There are also seven preliminary fights, with four on FS1 and three on UFC Fight Pass. Let’s look at the bout between Sherman and Willis and UFC picks.

Chase Sherman (11-4, 2-3 UFC)
Sherman came into the UFC with a record of 9-1 but he really hasn’t shown he can handle top competition, losing three of his five UFC bouts. He dropped his first two fights in the UFC, losing by unanimous decision to Justin Ledet in his UFC debut in 2016 and he was knocked out by Walt Harris in January of last year. Sherman did bounce back to knock out Rashad Coulter last May and he won a unanimous decision against Damian Grabowski last July. The winning streak for Sherman ended with a knockout loss to Shamil Abdurakhimov last November.
Sherman has been a pro since 2014 and it is pretty much all or nothing, as he has 10 wins by knockout and 9 of his 11 wins have ended in the first round. In fact, he has five wins that didn’t last much more than a minute.
Justin Willis (6-1, 2-0 UFC)
Willis is getting a lot of respect from the oddsmakers, even though he has fought just seven times in his pro career, and only twice in the UFC. He is unbeaten in the UFC, as he won a unanimous decision against James Mulheron last July and he knocked out Allen Crowder at UFC 218 last December.
Willis has been a pro since 2012 and he has a total of four wins by knockout, including three first round finishes.
UFC Picks
We pretty much know what to expect from these two fights. They are two big sluggers who are likely to trade haymakers on Saturday night. Willis has shown a lot of power in his fights, with four knockouts and Sherman has also shown solid knockout power. Sherman has more experience, but he also has more losses and he looks to be more susceptible to the big shot. That being said, I am very surprised at the price on this fight, as I can see a knockout either way. I definitely think Sherman is worth a play at this price of about 3-1 and I also think taking the fight to not go the distance is worth a play, as one of these two should win this fight by knockout.
