Davey Grant (10-3, 1-2 UFC)
Grant came into the UFC with a record of 9-1 and has had some problems winning in the UFC with a record of just 1-2. He defeated Marlon Vera by unanimous decision while losing to Chris Holdsworth by submission and Damian Stasiak by submission. Grant has been a pro since 2008 and he has eight wins by submission and one by TKO. He has won nine of his last 11 fights and he has a total of seven first round finishes.

Manny Bermudez (11-0, 1-0 UFC)
Bermudez is undefeated in his career and has only fought one time in the UFC where he defeated Albert Morales by submission. Bermudez has been a pro since 2015 and has one win by TKO and eight wins by submission. He has a total of eight first round finishes.

Bermudez said this to fightful.com about his upcoming UFC fight with Grant, “Davey gets a lot of finishes to, but I think what he does more is probably rock people and then submits them. He doesn’t have very many knockouts, but I can’t really see this one go to a decision either. Some guys are prone to decisions; I’m not prone to decisions. Davey is kind of a finisher to, so I think whatever way it goes…it’s going to be a good fight. It’s going to be two tough guys going at it, I think Davey being older…he has a little more too…he has to put his feet down and impress everybody. I know that I’m just getting onto the roster to, so I’m not going down easily.”

UFC Predictions
The value is definitely on Grant in this fight, but I am leery about going against an unbeaten fighter in Bermudez. We do know that both of these fighters are going to be looking for the finish and the combined first round finishes of the two fighters are 15, so I will take the rounds to go under the total.
