Sijara Eubanks (2-2, UFC debut)

Eubanks is making her UFC debut. In her four fights, she has two wins and two losses. She defeated Gina Begley by TKO and Amber Lynn Orr by TKO while losing to Katlyn Chookagian by unanimous decision and Aspen Ladd by unanimous decision. Eubanks has been a pro since 2015 and has two wins by TKO. She has two first round finishes.

Sijara Eubanks said this fightful.com about her UFC debut against Murphy, “I hope so (that a title shot is near), I don’t think there is too much they can say (after) I beat Lauren. I think that puts me right up there, in the media and from what I heard; they (the UFC) are trying to match Nicco up with Valentina (Shevchenko). Is that happens…it happens, it’ll come…my time for a title shot will come. I think beating Lauren definitely keeps me in the heat and right up at the top.”

Lauren Murphy (10-3, 2-3 UFC)

Murphy came into the UFC with a record of 8-0 and she has two wins and three losses in the UFC. She defeated Kelly Faszholz by TKO and Barb Honchak by split decision while losing to Sara McMann by split decision, Liz Carmouche by unanimous decision, and Katlyn Chookagian by unanimous decision. Murphy has been a pro since 2010 and has seven wins by TKO/KO. She has two first round finishes.

Lauren Murphy said this to fightful.com about her upcoming fight with Eubanks, “They kind of blew it up on the show a little bit and I think Sijara has kind of blown it up a little bit, honestly I don’t care. There could be anybody across the ring from me and…Sijara was mad at me because she thought I was trying to take her spot in the tournament when she was having trouble making weight. To me…that’s what a smart competitor does; everybody should’ve been trying to do that on the show. I don’t feel bad about that and when she did miss weight on the finale, I was like look…see, I was doing the right thing.”
