Doo Ho Choi (14-3, 3-2 UFC)
Choi came into the UFC with a record of 11-1 and he has three wins and two losses in the UFC. He defeated Juan Puig by TKO, Sam Sicilia by KO, and Thiago Tavares; while losing to Cub Swanson by unanimous decision and Jeremy Stephens by TKO. Choi has been a pro since 2009 and he has 11 wins by knockout and one by submission. He has nine first round finishes.

Charles Jourdain (9-2, 0-1 UFC)
Jourdain came into the UFC with a record of 9-1 and he has no wins and one loss in the UFC. He lost to Desmond Green by unanimous decision on May 18, 2019. Jourdain’s last win in his career was against Damien Lapilus by TKO on April 11, 2019. Jourdain has been a pro since 2016 and he has six wins by TKO/KO and three by submission. He has three first round finishes.
Jourdain said this to rds.ca about his upcoming fight against Choi, “The style that has given me the most misery so far is the fight of Laramie and Green, point fighters. They will take a lot of distance and try to score as many points as possible to get away with the victory without necessarily having done any damage or tried to finish you. I try to finish before the limit. All my victories have been like that, the same for Choi. I think it's perfect for me because the more risk he takes, the more risk he will put himself. So it's a double-edged knife for both, but I have the advantage of never having been knocked or shaken. Maybe when he gets hit, he'll find it a little more difficult.”

UFC Picks
Oddmakers have Choi favored at -275 and that might be too high a price considering we haven’t seen Choi in almost two years. It is always risky to take a fighter coming off a layoff and in this case we have to lay a big price. Jourdain could be worth a look simply because of the price, but I think the better choice is to play the rounds. I like the rounds to go under, as both Choi and Jourdain will be looking for the finish.
