Gane said this to sportskeeda.com about his upcoming fight against Spivak, “Tai Tuivasa was spectacular and he was a dangerous guy. But Spivak, he doesn't look like a dangerous guy...But he is more dangerous because he can strike, he can wrestle and he can go to the ground game. It's going to be a big test for me. This is a new guy in just joining the top five...He's a good guy, a good fighter. He's well-rounded and he's dangerous.”

UFC Picks
This fight really comes down to whether or not Gane can keep the fight standing. If this fight goes to the mat, then Gane is in real trouble. Jones got Gane to the mat quickly in his last fight and it was over. If Gane is able to show some good takedown defense then he definitely has the edge in striking. I just don’t like that 45% percentage on Gane in terms of takedown defense. Maybe he can get Spivak into trouble early and find a way to get the knockout. Regardless, this one definitely looks like a fight that doesn’t go the distance. I think taking the rounds to go under is the best bet. I also think you could make a couple of prop bets and take Gane to win by TKO and Spivak to win by submission. You get nice plus money on both of those props. If one of those props hits then you do really well on the props and you also win the rounds going under the total. The danger, of course, is that the fight goes to a decision, but I just don’t think that is likely considering the finishing ability of both of these fighters.
