Kenny Florian said this to sportskeeda.com about the upcoming fight between Ige and Evloev, “I think this is going to be a tough matchup for Ige. He is facing an excellent grappler in Evloev who, I think, does a great job of utilizing his striking enough to bring it into his strength. And he's [Evloev] pretty safe. He doesn't just sit there and trade in the pocket. If he decides to do that, then Ige can catch him and knock him out and it's all over, but I think Evloev is a smart fighter. He knows how to bring it into his realm really well... I got Evloev here.”

UFC Picks
This fight is the co-main event and Evloev is listed as more than a 4-1 favorite. Ige is a tough fighter who just continually draws difficult opponents. In the last two years he has faced Mirsad Bektic, Edson Barboza, Calvin Kattar, Gavin Tucker, Chan Sung Jung and Josh Emmett. Ige did well to go 3-3 in those six fights. All three of his losses went the distance. Evloev has won all five of his UFC starts and he is likely to move into the top 10 of the featherweight rankings with a win over Ige.
The first thing that stands out to me in this bout is the price. I don’t know that Evloev should be this type of favorite. He has looked good in his career, but this is a matchup against a tough fighter in Ige. One thing we do know is that this fight won’t be easy for Evloev. I would like to take the rounds to go over the listed 2.5 but I don’t like the price of -350. I think the better choice is to simply take a small flyer on Ige to win at the big price and then play some of the props on Evolev to win in a specific way.
