Jacoby said this to mmanews.com about his upcoming fight against Reyes, “My mindset is to go in there, get a big win over Dominick Reyes. I think that gets me back into the top 15. Then I'd like to get somebody in the top 10... First and foremost, I've got one of the most dangerous guys in the division ahead of me June 8... Reyes is a guy that's been on a downfall here the past few years, but he's still very dangerous... arguably beat Jon Jones. I know what it feels like to be down and counted out. I see the comments, 'R.I.P Reyes, Reyes is going to get knocked out again!' And while I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure that happens, he's still a very dangerous opponent... There are some unfortunate events that have happened to him, and getting knocked out is one of them. That's one thing I think I'm pretty good at doing... That's what I plan on doing this fight and that's how I think this fight's going to go."

UFC Picks

Jacoby is listed as more than a 2-1 favorite in UFC odds to win this fight and that is the way I would lean, but I don’t like laying big prices. Both of these fighters have pretty much done what was expected, beating similar to lesser opponents and losing to top-tier fighters. Perhaps there is some value on taking Reyes simply because of the big price, but I’ll just look at the rounds.

One of the round props I saw had the total rounds listed at 2.5 and the under at -175. That is the way I would prefer to go in this fight, as I agree with Jacoby, as this fight looks like it will have a finish. You also play a parlay and go with Jacoby and under in the rounds if you are looking for a bigger payout.
