Rozenstruik said this to middleeasy.com about his upcoming fight against Almeida, “We have two different styles but we’re going to leave that for May 13th. It’s definitely going to be a good one. I think if you’re finishing guys it’s something big, it’s promising. But now you got to face me. I’m a different type of guy than all the guys he faced. I think this is a big test for him. I got nothing to show him but put him away and make sure I’m looking forward. I heard some of his interviews or the things he said. He thinks it’s going to kind of be easy and I don’t know about that but I’m training hard and I’ll be ready. I can’t wait to make it happen.”

UFC Picks
Rozenstruik is a big underdog in this fight. He has gone 3-4 in his last seven fights, but it is hard to see much fault in his four losses as they came to Francis Ngannou, Ciryl Gane, Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov. Almeida has been extremely impressive, winning all of his UFC bouts. He should get a better test against Rozenstruik, who is definitely the best opponent he has faced. It is a bit of a clash of styles, as Rozenstruik wants to keep this fight standing and try to win a striking battle, while Almeida would prefer to get the fight to the mat.
You definitely have to give the edge in this fight to Almeida, but there is no way I am laying 5-1 against a fighter in Rozenstruik who has power. I don’t like laying big prices regardless, and I can’t do it here. I also can’t take Rozenstruik, even at the big price. This fight does seem like one where we will get an early finish, so I’ll go under the rounds total as my top pick.
