Suarez said this to mmafighting.com about her upcoming fight against Andrade, “I just know that I’m just excited for the fight, because it’s a great fight in terms of she’s a former world champion. She’s beat a lot of great girls. So I’m looking forward to the competition.”
Suarez also said this to middleeasy.com about her upcoming fight against Andrade, “I was really thinking about this because of the position that I’m in, but I just don’t really understand the division right now. Because Yan (Xionan) came back with a big win over (Jessica) Andrade, so I don’t know where that puts me. Does that mean me and Yan will fight? You know what I mean? I don’t know what that means. Or does Yan already have the shot (at the strawweight title), and she’s just waiting for (Amanda) Lemos and Zhang (Weili) to fight, and I’m going to fight somebody else? I’m not exactly sure what they’re going to have me do, but I just know that I’m excited for the fight. Because it’s a great fight in terms of she’s a former world champion. She’s beaten a lot of great girls, so I’m looking forward to the competition.”

UFC Picks
The first thing that jumps out at me in this fight is the price. Is Suarez really good enough to be a 4-1 favorite over Andrade? I know Suarez is unbeaten but she has only fought nine times and just six times in the UFC. I am not laying 4-1 on anyone, but I am not confident enough in Andrade to take her at the big price. The rounds might be worth a look as both Andrade and Suarez are capable of finishing. This fight has the looks of one that may end up on the mat and that could mean a finish one way or the other. I’ll go under the rounds in this fight between Andrade and Suarez.
