Jimmy Crute (11-1, 3-1 UFC)
Crute came into the UFC with a record of 8-0 and he has three wins and one loss in the UFC. He defeated Paul Craig by kimura submission, Sam Alvey by TKO, and Michal Oleksiejczuk by kimura submission; while losing to Misha Cirkunov by Peruvian necktie submission. Crute has been a pro since 2016 and he has four wins by TKO/KO and four by submission. He has seven first round finishes.
Crute said this to ufc.com about his upcoming fight against Bukauskas, “I take it as a compliment from the UFC, they think I’m the guy that can test this up and comer. I know they’ve got a lot of hype behind him. I think the UFC have come to me and said check if this guy’s worthy or not. I’m not going to be sitting here complaining. I know what I’m going to do to him; I think it’s very obvious where I’ve got advantages over him. But there’s also problems where he thinks he’s going to be comfortable with me and it’s going to be a rude shock. Instead of trying to do all these flashy techniques, mate, you should work on your boxing defense. He seems like a real nice guy, but I’m going to bash him.”
Modestas Bukauskas (11-2, 1-0 UFC)
Bukauskas came into the UFC with a record of 10-2 and he has one win and no losses in the UFC. He defeated Andreas Michailidis by TKO. Bukauskas’s last loss in his career was against John Redmond by TKO on July 8, 2016. Bukauskas has been a pro since 2015 and he has eight wins by TKO/KO and two by submission. He has six first round finishes.

UFC Picks
There is not much doubt that Crute should be favored in this bout, and even though I expect he will win, I have a hard time laying 3-1. I think the best option is to find a prop with Crute to win by knockout. I will probably play the rounds, but the oddsmakers have made the rounds 1.5 and although I like the under, it is still a little risky when you don’t get a 2.5. I will go with Crute to win by knockout and the rounds to go under the total.
