Aliaskhab Khizriev is a slight favorite against Kyle Daukaus at UFC Fight Night: Vettori vs. Holland on Saturday, April 10 in Las Vegas, Nevada. There are also a total of nine fights on the preliminary card on ESPN+. Let's look at the bout between Daukaus and Khizriev and UFC predictions.

UFC Fight Night: Vettori vs. Holland Betting

Kyle Daukaus (10-1, 1-1 UFC)

Daukaus came into the UFC with a record of 9-0 and he is 1-1 in the UFC. He lost a unanimous decision against Brendan Allen in his UFC debut last June, but Daukaus bounced back to win a unanimous decision against Dustin Stoltzfus in November of last year. Daukaus has been a pro since 2018 and he has seven wins by submission. He has three first round finishes.

Daukaus looked good in a win over Stoltzfus last time out, but it is hard to get that excited about taking him in this fight. He came out of the Contender Series in 2019 but didn't impress enough to get a contract at that time.

Aliaskhab Khizriev (13-0, UFC debut)

Khizriev will be making his UFC debut on Saturday. His last fight came in September of last year when he won a Contender Series bout against Henrique Shiquemoto. Khizriev had previously competed in Fight Nights Global. His past four wins in that competition were against Rousimar Palhares, Yasubey Enomoto, Matej Truhan and Sergey Kobchik. Khizriev has been a pro since 2014 and he has four wins TKO/KO and two by submission. He has seven first round finishes.

Khizriev won on the Contender Series and got a UFC contract. He was very impressive in Fight Nights Global and there is no reason he can't continue his success in the UFC.

UFC Picks

When it comes to fighters making their UFC debut, I pay a lot of attention to the betting odds. When that fighter is favored, he usually gets the win because oddsmakers usually know what is going on with fighters making their debut. It is easy to like Khizriev, as he dominated in Russia and then looked great in the Contender Series. I will lay the small price and take Khizriev to get this win.
