If you bet the UFC regularly then you probably already know that when oddsmakers heavily favor a fighter making their UFC debut it is almost money in the bank. I despise laying big money, but I am at least tempted to lay the 3-1 on Maverick. She is not a great fighter but this is the perfect matchup for her, as the one weakness that Maverick has is her stand up game, but Borella is no threat in terms of striking. Borella is known more for her wrestling and that goes right into Maverick’s wheelhouse. I think the better value play is to take Maverick to win by submission and the rounds to go under.
