I have to admit that I didn’t think Dern was much more than a pretty face when she came into the UFC. She has proven me wrong, as she is 6-1 in the UFC and she is getting better. She has been working with boxing coach Jason Parillo and there is no question Dern is in excellent shape and extremely well prepared. I have respect for Rodriguez, as she always shows up with a good effort, but I think Dern is starting to prove she is on another level. I think Dern is going to be in line for a title shot soon and this fight against Rodriguez is just another chance for Dern to prove she is worthy. I’ll lay the price and take Dern to get the win.
