Ex-UFC title challenger-turned-PFL executive Dan Hardy said this to mmanews.com about the upcoming fight between Holloway and Chan-sung, “He (Chan-sung) stays right in range to take shots, but his eyes are open; he never blinks when someone takes a shot at him. The recklessness of putting himself in danger right in the pocket, but the crispness of being able to land the right punch in the right moment... He's willing to throw logic out of the window to put himself in a position to land a heavier shot... On the other side, you've got Max Holloway, whose intensity increases over five rounds, round-by-round. Starts off at a steady pace, landing maybe 25, 30 percent of his shots. Then he starts to pick it up. The Calvin Kattar fight stays in everyone's mind because of the volume he threw... (That's) something Max Holloway can utilize against 'The Korean Zombie,' who kind of waits... He hangs back and waits a little bit, even if he's on the front foot. Sometimes he can get hurt and dazed in moments where he's waiting, looking for the right shot, because he doesn't mind taking the shots... Sometimes he'll take shots he doesn't need to... That's where Max Holloway's very good; the general accumulation.”

UFC Picks
First off, the UFC odds on Holloway are ridiculous. He shouldn’t be an 8-1 favorite in this fight. He has some definite advantages over Chan-sung, but the price on this fight suggests that Holloway is a sure thing. I am not laying this type of price on anyone and definitely not on Holloway. Is Chan-sung worth a play at the big number? I am not a big fan of Chan-sung, as I don’t think he has beaten that many top fighters, as his fights seem to be cherry picked to pad his record, so I don’t really want to take the underdog. In a fight like this where the price is so high, you would think that Holloway would have the finishing power to end it early, but he really doesn’t. The most likely scenario is that he will grind out a victory, so I will go over the rounds total.
