I don’t think there is much doubt as to what we are going to see in this main event fight, as both of these fighters are aggressive. Strickland puts on continual pressure and is tough as nails, while Magomedov has been very impressive and doesn’t waste any time, as he took out Dustin Stoltzfus in 19 seconds in his debut. The winner of this fight could put himself in line for a title shot down the road.
Strickland is a fan favorite, as he talks a lot and gets the fans going. He is always full of energy and goes at a high pace. He averages 5.76 significant strikes landed per minute.
Magomedov is more of a question mark, with just one fight in the UFC. He definitely has power, with 20 of his 25 wins coming by finish. He also has the height and reach advantage over Strickland.

I know many people will take Strickland simply because he has more experience, but I think there is more value on taking Magomedov. He could be a future title contender and we are getting him at the plus price in this main event fight.
