Luque said this to Middle Easy’s Chris Owens about his upcoming fight against Buckley, “I think that he's a guy he's very strong and built you know in a way where I know he has knockout power in his hands and in his legs. I've been through so many wars that if it becomes a war, well it's another day you know of me doing what I what I do but at the same time I think that I have the skills to really go out there and just work to build a dominant fight against him.”

UFC Picks
Buckley made a good decision to move to the welterweight decision last year. He beat Andre Fialho in his welterweight debut, and then he took care of Alex Morono last time out. He will get a big test in this fight against Luque. The UFC odds on this fight are basically a pick. I agree with the UFC oddsmakers in this one, as I don’t see a big edge either way.
What we do know is that both of these fighters are finishers. Luque has 22 wins in his career and 19 have come by finish. Buckley has 17 wins and 12 of those were by finish. The rounds option for this fight is listed at 2.5 rounds with the under at -165. I think this fight will be full of fireworks and I would be surprised if it goes the distance. I think the price on the rounds going over is reasonable, so I will take the rounds to go over the UFC betting total.
