XMMA Picks
We have no real clue as to how Dodson is going to perform after leaving the UFC. Will he use this fight against Gibson as motivation to prove he still belongs in top MMA organizations or will he just mail it in? We know that Gibson has adjusted to this level of fighting and he has done well. Neither of these two is great at finishing, so the best bet may be to simply take the rounds to go over.
In one of the other key fights, it is Nate Marquardt taking on Valdir Arajuo. Marquardt is a former UFC middleweight title challenger and he is coming off his first fight in four years when he beat Michael Cora at Titan FC 71 in August. He will be taking on Arajuo who is an Ultimate Fighter Season 21 alumnus. Marquardt is known for finishes, as he has 11 knockouts and 17 submissions and Araujo is another fighter who rarely goes to a decision, as he has seven knockouts and seven submissions in his 18 wins. I’ll go under the rounds total in this fight.
