The International Champions Cup is underway. On Tuesday night, Fiorentina knocked off Guadalajara Chivas 2-1 just outside of Chicago, while on Wednesday night, Arsenal beat Bayern Munich 2-1 in Los Angeles. A total of 12 teams are participating in this competition, and they are out to follow in the footsteps of Tottenham Hotspur. Last year, Spurs used an International Champions Cup win as a springboard to greater success, making it to the Champions League final.

Antonio Conte took a year off from coaching after he was let go by Chelsea just after the World Cup, and he is looking to rejuvenate his career back where he cut his teeth…in Serie A.
Conte is likely to deploy in a 3-4-3 formation in this match, and that will lead to plenty of focus on Valentino Lazaro. Lazaro is a youngster that came over from Hertha Berlin earlier this month for 22 million Euros, and Inter fans are anxious to see him in action.
We still have no word on whether or not Paul Pogba will take part in the International Champions Cup. Pogba is rumored to be angling for an exit from Old Trafford once more, so his status is in doubt this competition.

The oddsmakers are down on Chivas’ chances after their performance against Fiorentina on Tuesday. Javier Eduardo Lopez opened the scoring in the 25th minute, but Chivas’ back line struggled to stop Fiorentina throughout the game, allowing the Italian club to put 10 shots on net.
Life without Joao Felix begins now for Benfica. The Portuguese giants sold Felix to Real Madrid for a whopping 126 million Euros this summer, but they have done well with their academy and already have some prized young prospects to replace him. Keep an eye on Haris Seferovic in this match, as he tallied 23 goals in 29 games for Benfica last season.

The young guns for Arsenal carried the day against Bayern Munich on Wednesday, and they should see plenty of action in this match. Fans are very excited about Eddie Nketiah, Bukayo Saka, and Gabriel Martinelli, and they are hopeful that Martinelli will make his club debut after sitting out the 2-1 win over Bayern Munich.
Riccardo Sottil scored a beautiful game-winning goal for Fiorentina earlier this week. He had a strong performance during his time on the field, and he will look to impress again versus Arsenal.

Real Madrid brought the vast majority of their stars with them to North America, and their two biggest signings over the summer will be making their debuts too. Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic were both signed to massive deals in a summer where the club spent over 300 million Euros to challenge for La Liga and Champions League glory once more.
The stars will be out for Bayern Munich too, as they brought former Real Madrid player Renato Sanches across the pond, as well as Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller. Manuel Neuer is looking to have an impact too after missing most of last season due to injury.

Spurs are finally active in the transfer market once more. After staying completely quiet last summer, Tottenham splurged to acquire midfielder Tanguy Ndombele from Lyon, and they are hopeful that he can be the missing piece that leads to the club winning a trophy.
As for Juventus, they just signed Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt early Thursday morning. He is unlikely to play in this match, but he could feature later on in the ICC.
