We are a third of the way into the season, and we could see history made on both ends of the table in the MLS. The Colorado Rapids are winless and have just two points from their first 11 games. If they keep this pace up, they would finish with just six points and become the worst team in MLS history by a substantial margin. Currently, the worst team in league history is the Tampa Bay Mutiny, who finished with 14 points in 2001.
On the other end of the table, there’s Los Angeles FC. LAFC are off to a smashing start, and they have 27 points through 12 games. The New York Red Bulls just broke the record for most points in a season by posting 71 points last year, and LAFC are on pace to crush that mark.

Montreal Impact -140
New England Revolution +368
Draw +280
Over/Under 2.5
It’s pretty incredible that New England has three victories considering how poorly the Revolution have played this season. They beat San Jose 3-1 at home last week to stop a four-game winless streak that saw the club allow 18 goals, but this defense is still a horrorshow. Montreal knocked off New England 3-0 in Gillette Stadium last month, and the Impact should be heavier favorites than this.
Real Salt Lake +125
Toronto FC +187
Draw +274
Over/Under 3

The visitors are hoping that Jozy Altidore will be able to play in this one after being unable to go on Wednesday night. Toronto’s offense lacked punch without Altidore up top, so they were forced to settle for a 0-0 draw with D.C. United. Real Salt Lake have the advantage of playing at home in altitude, and they will have had a week of rest before this game.
San Jose Earthquakes +107
Chicago Fire +221
Draw +276
Over/Under 3
We have seen Chicago play very well in the back in recent weeks. The Fire have gone three straight games without conceding a goal, and that has them right on the edge of the playoff race. Chicago has yet to win away from the Windy City in five tries this season though, while San Jose has won half of its home games.
Philadelphia Union -136
Seattle Sounders +335
Draw +294
Over/Under 3
It’s rare to see a club as good as the Sounders as this big of an underdog, but that’s because of the schedule. Seattle hosted Orlando City late Wednesday night, and they will have to travel cross-country to face Philadelphia on the road on short rest on Saturday night. The Union have won three straight matches, and they are likely to win this one too.
Minnesota United FC +115
Columbus Crew +222
Draw +252
Over/Under 2.5 and 3
The Loons have yet to lose at home this year, and they are out to make the playoffs for the first time in franchise history. They are 4-4-3 thus far, and we have seen some good play from Minnesota United thus far. Columbus have some real problems scoring, but they acquired David Accam from Philadelphia last week to fix that.
Houston Dynamo -151
DC United +380
Draw +302
Over/Under 2.5 and 3
This should be the best game of the weekend. These are two of the more fun teams in the league, and they play very different styles. Houston prefers to sit back and counterattack with Alberth Elis and Mauro Manotas leading the charge, while DC United have two great goal scorers in Wayne Rooney and Luciano Acosta. Those two players are rested despite a mid-week game after being used as subs in Toronto.
Sporting Kansas City -226
Vancouver Whitecaps +541
Draw +377
Over/Under 3
Despite dealing with a myriad of injuries, Sporting KC are big favorites at home this week against Vancouver. The Whitecaps have not been playing great, but there is some value on them at such an outlandish price.
