Sporting Kansas City (6-6-2, 24 Points) is actually averaging the second most points per game this season in the MLS.That said, the team is only just barely a favorite against the ninth place team in the Western Conference, Real Salt Lake (4-6-5, 18 Points).... 

D.C. United (8-4-4, 28 Points) has already ripped the heart out of Orlando City (4-5-5, 17 Points) twice this season with late goals to steal points.
This task might be easier on Sunday against an Orlando City side dashed by call-ups on international duty.... 

The San Jose Earthquakes (5-3-5, 18 Points) will be the first to tell you that they are a lot better than just your run-of-the-mill .500 team.
They'll need to prove that though, against a surprising FC Dallas (6-3-4, 21 Points) squad which has its sights set on breaking a bad hex of form.... 

The Los Angeles Galaxy (5-5-4, 20 Points) might be the most dangerous team in the MLS right now. They are getting healthy and will be adding the legendary Steven Gerrard in another month and a half, but more importantly, they are in fine form.
If they can beat the New England Revolution (5-5-3, 20 Points) on Sunday, they'll take a huge step towards the top of the table in the Western Conference.... 

The Seattle Sounders (7-2-3, 23 Points) are topping the MLS through a dozen matches, but they could be in for a tough task defending their home turf against the New York Red Bulls (4-5-2, 17 Points) in the best match of the weekend on Sunday.... 

Both Manchester City and Toronto FC would tell you that they would rather not be playing one another on Wednesday night in a friendly match. However, thanks to television and the money this match will provide, it will take place, though it should be noted that both sides are probably going to end up being weaker than usual.... 

The fact of the matter is that the Los Angeles Galaxy (4-5-4, 17 Points) are merely an average team in a really good Western Conference this season. Still, the defending MLS Cup champs are easily the right choices when they are playing at home as they are on Wednesday night against Real Salt Lake (4-5-3, 17 Points).... 

The New York Red Bulls (4-5-1, 17 Points) have never lost at home in franchise history to the Philadelphia Union (2-3-7, 9 Points). They'll hope that continues at Red Bull Arena on Sunday night.... 

The San Jose Earthquakes (5-2-4, 17 Points) have ridden a four-game unbeaten streak back into the playoff picture in the Western Conference. They'll look to stay there and keep their run going on Sunday against another team struggling to stay above the cut line for the postseason, Orlando City (3-3-5, 12 Points).... 

It was a result which Bruce Arena referred to as "awful" at Orlando City. The defending MLS Cup champs, the Los Angeles Galaxy (3-5-4, 14 Points) will be looking to rebound quickly from their 4-0 loss in the Sunshine State when they fly home to host the Houston Dynamo (4-4-4, 16 Points) on Friday night.... 

The Columbus Crew (4-2-4, 14 Points) haven't scored a goal in 309 minutes away from home. Fortunately for them, they'll be back at the friendly confines of MAPFRE Stadium on Friday night when the Chicago Fire (3-1-5, 10 Points) come calling.... 

Last season, D.C. United (6-3-1, 21 Points) swept the season series with a pair of 1-0 wins over the Philadelphia Union (1-3-7, 6 Points). The boys from D.C. will surely be favored once again to write the same script on Sunday when they head to the City of Brotherly Love.... 

Had you told Adrian Heath that Orlando City (2-3-5, 9 Points) still wouldn't have its first home win in the middle of May, he probably would have told you that you were crazy. The Lions will take yet another stab at it on Sunday on a short week of preparation against the LA Galaxy (3-5-3, 14 Points).... 

Orlando City (2-3-4, 9 Points) has still yet to win a home game this season. One of its many disappointments came against DC United (5-3-1, 18 Points), a loss which it will get the chance to avenge on Wednesday night in Washington DC.... 

After starting off the season with seven matches in a row on the road, Toronto FC (3-0-4, 9 Points) will open up the newly renovated BMO Field for the first time in 2015 on Sunday night when the Houston Dynamo (1-4-2, 10 Points) come to town.... 

For the first time in their history, the New York Red Bulls (3-4-1, 13 Points) will go to war with their arch rivals, New York City FC (1-3-5, 6 Points) in one of the most highly anticipated duels of the MLS weekend.... 

The Seattle Sounders (4-1-2, 13 Points) are starting to play like the MLS Cup contenders many believed they were going to be at the outset of the season. Theoretically, matches like this one against New York City FC (1-3-4, 8 Points) shouldn't be all that difficult.... 

The Chicago Fire ( 3-0-3, 9 Points ) have caught some fire of late, and they are going to hope to keep things rolling when they visit Sporting Kansas City ( 2-4-2, 10 Points ) on Sunday afternoon....
