The 2024 U.S. Presidential Election has already seen a number of twists and turns and more are likely before November. Last week it was the debate with Kamala Harris winning what was a stacked and partisan debate against Donald Trump, while this week’s news is another assassination attempt against Trump. When Trump survived an assassination attempt the first time, U.S. Presidential odds moved in his favor, but this time the odds didn’t move. This U.S. Presidential election is unlike any other, as news comes out every week that has the potential to change political odds. We are now less than two months away from November 6th and there is definitely more drama ahead. With the race so close, many people believe that another major event will take place before the November election that rocks the world. What we do know is that the people in power do not want Donald Trump in the White House again and they will do whatever it takes to make sure Trump does not win. What that action will be is anyone’s guess, but with a possible World War in the future or another pandemic, the next couple of months will definitely be unpredictable.

We have already seen a wild 2024 U.S. Presidential election with former President Donald Trump surviving two assassination attempts and current President Joe Biden dropping out of the race. You might not even remember, but Trump was listed as a 2-1 favorite in the betting odds some months ago, but now he is a slight underdog. It was thought that Harris would be too unpopular for the Democrats to put her at the top of the Presidential ticket, but the Democrats found a way to get Joe Biden elected four years ago and they may pull off the unthinkable and get Harris elected in November. The Democrats are trying to pull back a little bit with Harris changing some of her radical positions, but it doesn’t help her cause that her Vice President running mate, Tim Walz is even more radical than Harris.

On the Republican side, the Republican nominee is former President Donald Trump. He won the Republican nomination and chosen as the nominee in the Republican convention in July. It is worth nothing, however, that Trump is still not a guarantee to make it to November. He has legal troubles that could be an issue and he already has had to survive two assassination attempts. September will be an interesting month for Trump, as one of his ridiculous sentencing hearings takes place this month. If Trump is unable to run then it may end up being Republican Vice President nominee J.D. Vance who gets the nomination.

Also on the board at BookMaker for the 2024 U.S. Presidential election is the Electoral College Margin, the popular vote winning party, and prices on the so-called swing states that will decide the 2024 election. Those states are Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
