The 6th event of the 14-event LIV Golf season, LIV Golf Adelaide, takes place from Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28 at The Grange Golf Club in Grange, South Australia. This will be the second straight season that an LIV Golf event will be held at The Grange. Last year it was Talor Gooch winning this event, while Dustin Johnson’s 4 Aces GC Team will look to defend their team title. Dean Burmester is the latest LIV Golf winner, as he took the title in Miami, while Rahm’s Legion XIII team is coming off their second win of the season at LIV Golf Miami. Niemann remains the leader in the individual standings, while Bryson DeChambeau’s Crushers GC team remains the leader in the team standings. The LIV Golf Adelaide event will be a 54-hole event with normal scoring and no cut and also include team play. The purse for this event is $25 million with a $20 million dollar purse for the individual players and $5 million for team play. The individual winner gets $4 million dollars, while the winning team shares $3 million. Jon Rahm is once again listed as the LIV Golf betting favorite to win this event in Australia at odds of +600, followed by Niemann and Smith at +1000.

The Grange has two courses, East and West that will be used for this event. The front nine will have holes 9,10 and 12-18 from the East course, while the back nine will have holes 10-18 from the Weet course. The East course was the site of Greg Norman’s first professional win in 1976, while the West course hosted the Women’s Australian Open in 2016 and 2019. The most famous hole is the 161-yard par-3 12 hole that is nicknamed the Watering Hole. The toughest hole in this tournament last year was the par-3 third hole that played to an average of 3.181, while the easiest hole was the par-5 7th which played to a 4.382 average.
